The role of knowledge in transforming virtually every aspect of our world has
moved IT institutions to the center stage of the academic community. More then
any other institution in our society, the IT institute like COMSAT Institution
of Information Technology(CIIT),are on the forefront in producing the IT
professionals who derive our economy and the new research ideas that keep it
growing. CIIT is one of the leading IT institutes in Pakistan, with a
well-established reputation and a wide range of interests and facilities. Most
importantly, it has the faculty of international distinction.
COMSATS Institution of Information Technology is distinctive. This
has been recognized by the Government Ministry of Science and Technology as
well as the major player of Industry, with whom we are working to promote
science and technology in the country.

The name of COMSAT Institute of Information Technology is synonymous with the
leading edge of computer science computer engineering ,and the introduction of
faculty of Business Administration will only help to further this image.
Our aim is to remain among leading institutions of the country for
teaching and education in these disciplines. We educate the students in a way
that foster technical excellence, originally and breadth of vision. We have
been able to achieve our aims with the help of our academia and qualified
faculty, which is drawn largely from senior positions in industry ensuring that
links back into commercial world are maintained and that students work on real
problems, in real time, as in real life. This provides an excellent basis for
career progression of our students.
