Accounts Office
Overview

Accounts Section is the back bone of Administration Department of CIIT Abbottabad. This Section demands hard work and endeavors to give maximum services/support to all other Sections of Administration, as well as Academic staff serving in different Departments, in shortest possible time in order to ensure smooth running of the Campus.
All record related to Financial receipts/payments is kept in this Section in a suitable manner for preparation of Financial Reports at the end of each Financial Year for verification by Auditors every year on their visit to the Campus for the purpose.

 
Main Duties of Accounts Section
  1. Student Fee Accounts

    Provision of Fee challans to Students for fresh admissions as well as at the start of new semester. Thereafter, on receipt of paid Fee challans from Students/Bank, the information is posted against each Student in Computerized Accounting Software developed for the purpose. All reports/returns related to Fee Accounts are generated from time to time.

  2. General Accounts Section

    General Accounts Section deals with all Receipts and Payments, whether to students or vendors, allied organizations, employees, donors etc. It is the main Accounting Office, where all the accounting data is processed and recorded from basic receipt/payment vouchers for preparation of Financial Statements and final Audit by the Auditors.

    Computerized Accounting Software developed for the purpose is being used to record all the relevant transactions.
 
Profile of Head of Accounts Section

Mr. Muhammad Ismail is performing the duties as Deputy Treasurer and head of Accounts Section of CIIT Abbottabad for the last three years.

Mr. Ismail is First Class Science Graduate from University of Peshawar. He qualified Final SAS Accountancy Examination in 1976 and was inducted as Accountant with immediate effect and remained Youngest Accountant at Abbottabad Station for a long period. He has at his credit Post Qualification experience of more than Twenty Eight years related to Service Rules/Regulations and Pre-Audit, especially Pay and Allowances Regulations, TA/DA Rules, Provident Fund Rules, Pension/Gratuity Rules, Stores and Works Accounts. He served as Accountant for Ten years, As Accounts Officer/ Assistant Director for Sixteen years and as Deputy Director for two years in Audit and Accounts Department of Pakistan.
