The Career Development Center started its operations under the Management Sciences Department, CIIT Abbottabad. Now it has been organized as a separate entity and located in the front office. This unit is responsible for furthering the career options of its graduating students and molding all other students for the job related skills.

The CDC achieves its role by developing a close liaison with the potential employers on one hand and develops its graduating students on the other hand. We are in the process of forming an alumni association of CIIT Abbottabad Graduates. This association will play a pivotal role in brand imaging of CIIT Abbottabad in the corporate world. The CDC is conducting a seminar series with the graduating classes of Electrical Engineering, Management Sciences, Computer Sciences, Environmental Sciences and Development Studies Departments. These seminars are covering the resume formation, covering letters, interviewing and presentation skills and personality development.

CDC is not only focusing on its graduating students but is open for students from all semesters and disciplines. Memberships are offered to all students and CDC plans to motivate and encourage its members to arrange various seminars and activities throughout semester to build confidence in students.

CDC endeavor to motivate its students to fully utilize their potential and achieve greater successes in their professional lives.

At CDC we offer services related to internships, workshops, career services and counselling, alumni meetings, choosing a majors, options for graduate study and Entrepreneurship new job postings, potential employers and career specific advice.
