CECOMS is a cooperative employee welfare society formulated to seek solution to various problems faced by the employees of CIIT Abbottabad, through mutual efforts. These may include (but are not limited to) employee’s welfare, their children education, health facilities, consumer services, transport, housing etc.
For this a cooperative society is registered with the Cooperative Societies Department, Government of NWFP. The direct beneficiaries of the cooperative activities will be members of the society and indirect beneficiaries will be general public utilizing these services.
Who should join?
It’s the right time for all the employees of CIIT to get the membership of the society to grab all likely benefits. The detailed requirements regarding membership of the society have already been disseminated to all the departments through departmental coordinators.
Eligibility:
The prospective members must be:
- Ordinary resident of Pakistan
- Permanent employee of the CIIT Abbottabad
- Of not less than 18 years of age except in case of a minor heir of a deceased member
- A person of repute to whom the Management Committee of the society decides to extend membership notwithstanding his business.

We are pleased to announce that our society has been registered in pursuance of the provision of section 10 of the Cooperative Societies Act No VII of 1925 on March 25, 2008.
It was decided that the society will undertake activities to generate financial resources, business/commercial activities, credit from (Development Financial Institutions) DFIs, and contribution from members for each activity separately and all other legal activities
