Note:
  • In a semester system, coursed are normally defined in terms of credit hours. Some courses have further subdivision into theory and lab work. One credit are of theory is normally equal to one lecture hour in the class room per week per semester. One credit hour of lab work, however, is equivalent to three contact hours in the lab per week per semester. All the lab sessions are graded. Students have to pass both theory and labs to earn the course credit.
  • Courses with pre-requisites can only be registered if the pre-requisites courses have been passed.
  • *with the consent of Academic Advisor, Project Supervisors and Course Instructor, the students can select an elective course in their area of specialization according to their aptitude and requirements of the final year project.
  • **students must clear minimum credit hours equal to the credit of the courses offered up to 5th semester, before the start of the 7th semester, to be eligible for the final year project.
  • ***with the consent of Academic Advisor, Project Supervisor and Course Instructor, the students can take any course of EE, which he / she has not taken before (including the electives of ETE, EC, EIE, EPE) according to his / her aptitude / future plan and further requirement (if any) of his / her final year project.
  • ****the list of lectures may be revised from time to time and will be offered by the department subject to the availability of the faculty.
