The very reason for the existence of CIIT Abbottabad campus is,

“Quality Teaching and Research Productivity”

Presently students join any academic institution either for the bandwagon effect (i.e the students tend to follow the trends of the market). It is very rare that a students seeks admission to have definite objectives in the field. The reason for education must not be limited to just job seeking or social status. Education is a deep rooted phenomenon which demands commitment to a far- greater degree.

We at CIIT Abbottabad try to provide the best possible faculty and infrastructure. As a public sector university, we have a greater responsibility to the Nation. We aim to bridge the gap of higher education in the best possible way we can, and target our efforts as providers of not only education but also “Quality Education”.

The second aspect is Research Productivity. At CIIT Abbottabad, we pay special attention to this feature and have 40 Ph.D qualified faculty members who are extensively involved in research and are guiding others for doing so. We have a set system for monitoring and setting targets in research productivity and we are proud to say that the system is working effectively and efficiently. We have recently extended opportunities to our faculty members to study further at the MS-level because we aim to improve the faculty education level. In future we expect that none of the faculty members will be under-qualified than MS.
