Department of Mathematics CIIT Abbottabad
To raise the standard of research in various branches of mathematics at international level, the local mathematicians should interact with the eminent researchers and scientists of international repute.
Realizing the fact, the department of Mathematics, COMSATS Institute of Information Technology, Abbottabad is committed to arrange a series of Symposiums, to provide opportunities for the local mathematicians to reduce the isolated environment in this region regarding mathematics.
For this purpose the department has organized Symposiums in 2006 and 2007 under the umbrella of TechnoMoot, in which various eminent mathematicians and scientists from locally and globally reputed Universities shared the ideas of new research and development in their relevant fields. As a continuation of this series the department is holding a Symposium on “Computational Complexities, Innovations and Solutions (CCIS)" on May 12 and 13, 2008.
