• Established in 2001
• initial intake of just 121 students growing to about 5560 in 2011 offering 13 Undergraduate and 11 graduate programs 10 departments
• CIIT has been placed 6th in ranking of research by the Higher Education Commission
• Up till now, 380 research papers have been published in HEC recognized journals, 2 International Patents have been registered, 24 Research Projects and 2 International Collaborations are underway
• 43 fully equipped laboratories
• 26,000 library books
• in-campus hostel facility for 850 students
• internet facility with the on-campus Internet Service Provider (ISP)
• the campus is now ISO 9001:2008 certified as a proof of its compliance to quality requirements standards
