Pakistan, despite enormous natural resources still remained indigent as a result of our inability to use science and technology to our advantage. In recent decades, a number of countries, once plagued with economic impediment as we do now, have been able to develop their economies with the application of science and technology. There is, therefore, no doubt about the fact that, science and technology capabilities are fundamental for social and economic progress in the globalised economy of today.
We at CIIT recognise the fact that, the quality of a country’s human resource is critical to its development, social cohesion and global competitiveness. Therefore, CIIT presents an environment for teaching, research and entrepreneurship training for the industrial and socio-economic development of Pakistan and offers service to the community.
