Program Description

Environmental Sciences is the interdisciplinary study of natural processes and human impacts in the atmosphere, aquatic systems, and soils. The B.S. program is designed to prepare the students in the areas of their interest from within a wide range of choices including Environmental Microbiology, Water and Waste Water Treatment, Environmental Biotechnology, Environmental Chemistry, Water Resource Management and Sanitation, Environmental Laws and Policies, Environmental Geology, Environmental Hazards and Natural Disasters, Alternate Energy, Natural Resource Management and Environmental Sociology. The department has fully equipped laboratories and research units to support the teaching, learning and research activities.
