Office of the General Manager (Academic and Administration)

Overview

The office of GM (Admin) has come into being on the standing that all matters of the institute other than Academia will be dealt by his office.

Followings are the resposibilities of GM Office:

  • Overall General activities of the campus
  • Dealing the matters of Establishment that is faculties/ officers & staff
  • Dealing with disciplinary cases/ inquires of court cases.
  • Management/ arrangement at the start of semester. 

Under this office follwing sections are operating;

  1. Establishment

    The Establishment Section deals with the following cases:

    1. Transfer/postings
    2. Promotions
    3. Renewal of contract
    4. Salary Notification
    5. Discipline issues (explaination, warning, enquiry)
    6. Experience Certificates
    7. English Proficiency Certificates
    8. Grant of NOC
    9. Resignations
    10. Correspondence relating to release of CP fund and Encashment of Earned Leave.
    11. All kinds of appointments.
    12. Performance Evaluation (from distribution of forms till Approval of the Competent Authority)
  2. Proctorial Board

    Deals with the discipline cases in the campus by the students.

  3. Store Office

    Independently working but referring to GM (A) office for the matters than store/ inventory, financial powers /approval

  4. Purchase office Office

    Independently working but reference to GM office for his other matters like purchase & procurement involving administrative approval & technical sanctions.
