Focus Area
The department prides itself on having several research groups with an international reputation who are among the leaders in their respective fields. Research guides all efforts of the department. Faculty members conduct research which is supported and enhanced by graduate as well as undergraduate students. Research projects conducted by our faculty often have an interdisciplinary and/or industrial component.
