Successful visit of
Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC)
to CIIT Abbottabad
Department of electrical engineering - 1-2 june 2009
Electronics Engineering is a jewel in the engineering arena of CIIT Abbottabad with World class future Engineers in her lap. Re-accreditation by PEC was due for subject program, which was scheduled on June 1-2, 2009.
Team consisted of the following highly competent engineering scholars:
- Dr. Naeem Arbab
- Dr. Riaz Ahmad
- Engineer Jahanzeb Khan
It was a very successful visit. The visiting team was briefed about the Electrical Engineering program of CIIT Abbottabad. They were highly appreciative of the state of the art labs, highly learned faculty and conducive teaching and learning environment of Electrical Engineering Department of CIIT Abbottabad. Team also carried out discussions with the students and was highly impressed with their intellectual acumen. After this briefing, the team visited the whole campus. They strongly recommended the Electrical Engineering program for Re-accreditation. The team hoped that CIIT Abbottabad will continue playing its due role in nation building process in engineering arena.
The appreciating remarks of the visiting team are a proof of the quality education being imparted by CIIT Abbottabad for improving the standard of education in Pakistan. We have fervent hopes that CIIT Abbottabad campus will attain heights of glory in the next few years.
